Jury's Still Out

Well a few games in and it's quite there yet, The Bin dippers weren't great but we were terrible.
Good against Sunderland but need to be more clinical.
Not Sure on this lone striker as 2 would give a partner who could pull defenders to them creating space. But who am I to judge :p

The defence still needs some work but all the signs are there. A few more games and they should click, Here's Hoping. There is a school of thought that we will make the top 5, I put Top four in my prediction list. So I have to stand by that. What I am pleased to see is that we can field 2 good quality teams, so cups and Europe wont be such an issue this term.

Here's hoping to a much better season than last seasons mess. COYS

Chuck Berry - Johnny B. Goode live

On My Mind

I was thinking if I should re-install Neverwinter Nights OC again, as I had gigs of stuff on my drive that died, ie; Some excellent Mods and so on, or, hold on till October for DA 3, Now THAT is a game I have been waiting for.
Will The New Witcher 3 Come with a Save maker ? ie; Some of us lost all our saves from 1 and 2. So, setting up 3 with our previous choices needs to be done.
I know a lot of us were angry at the way Bioware/EA(Who I feel are the main culprits) finished ME 3. It was not based on choices throughout the series, it was the Deus Ex 1,2,3 choice, which they said It would not be. but what are they going to do for ME 4 ? My Shepard was still breathing.

Since when did being on the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) Mean that Companies can call you ? The Law is THEY Cant. I don't want Solar Power/A Gas Boiler/PPI/or Had an Accident in the last couple of Years,,, FUCK OFF.

Football Season is Back Yeeessss And Spurs Beat the Spammers, that burst their bubbles. COYS

Some Common Sense At Last, David Badiel - Ram it up your Chav Arse

From Haringey Independent

The Metropolitan police have said that using the word ‘Yid’ at White Hart Lane is no longer an arrestable offence.
The police were asked for their position on the controversial term by Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust (THST) in a police and safety forum meeting last Monday.
However, Constable Steve Payne, Football Intelligence Officer for the Met, said fans could still be arrested for using the word if a complaint was made against them.
He added that there was a difference between anti-semitic holocaust songs directed at Spurs fans, which he said was an offence, and Spurs fans singing the Y-word, which was not.

THST have previously issues a statement defending the use of the word after the Football Association (FA) said it was “inappropriate in a football setting”.
Spurs fans have said they never use the word ‘Yid’ in a malicious way, despite its offensive connotations to Jewish people.
The FA warned that Spurs supports, who refer to themselves the ‘Yid Army’, could face criminal charges if they use the term.
The board of the supporters trust said in a statement fans mean no offence to members of the Jewish community when they use the term.

The trust said it is “categorically against ejections and banning orders for the use of the term by Tottenham Hotspur supporters in a match environment”.
On March 7 the Crown Prosecution Service discontinued cases made against three Spurs fans arrested for using the word.
THST said that the arrest and charge of those fans was “unnecessary and unwarranted”, adding that it raised issues surrounding “the right to free speech” and “did not take account of the context in which the wording was used”.

The trust added that the police’s approach was “misguided and over-zealous”.
It said: “We do not in any way condone racist language being used by football fans and we are aware of the recent media reporting of racist abuse being used towards opposition fans during matches.
“However this was never one of those cases. The word ‘Yid’ simply means ‘Jew’. It was and is still used as a term of endearment by many Jewish people.
"Its use in a derogatory way was started by racists in Nazi Germany. This deplorable action should not have the power to forever change its meaning into an abusive term.
“The word ‘Yid’ was adopted over 30 years ago by Spurs fans to combat racist abuse aimed towards them at football by opposing fans.
“It developed into a strong identity status that brought Jewish and non-Jewish Spurs fans together in an incredible show of unity that is admired worldwide. That is what fighting racism within football should be about.”
Last season eight arrests were made for racially aggravated offences at White Hart Lane.

Been out for 3 Weeks

Well. Been out for 3/4 weeks and the pain is still bad.
Have a host of pills I have to take. And backwards and forwards to Addenbrooks for Clinic,Scans and so on. Have to be careful when we DO have some decent sunshine as the Anti Rejection Drugs push up the risk of skin cancer.

But,, I still feel humbled that I got picked for the Transplant.

Been A Few Days

As some may know I have been in hospital. But I should be out soon as things have gone well.
Spurs let me down during my recovery grrrrr, But at least Bioware are holding on to DA 3 a while longer.

But I must say,, the Doctors/Nurses and helpers have been fantastic here at Addenbrooks.

Treatment 1 Done

Well, it felt weird, Painful to start with.
First there was the chats, the blood tests and so on.
The Next day, taken down to the Unit for the treatment.
4 Local anaesthetics then 3 Deeper local anaesthetics as the artery had to be numbed.

These hurt, well stung. Then they have to make a small Cut to insert a small tube.
It's an eye opener to see your Blood Pumping into the air till the tube is inserted.
Then they put in a hollow wire and scan as it is moved through the artery.
Then a wave of heat hits your back and sides as a die is pumped in.
The probing and machine movements goes on. Then the instructions for breath holds and
so on come and go.
They then find the feeders to the tumour. Once they agree on where to block the blood supplies to the tumour, they insert the blockers.

Back on the ward, I have to lay flat for a few hours, then I can propped up for another few hours before I can move around again.

The area that this all happens is the groin artery, so imagine how awkward it is after.
But there is still the stabbing pains now and then. The tumour will have a dig know doubt.

But it's all to stunt the cancers growth while on the Transplant List.

And waiting for a Liver Transplant can be Days/Weeks/Months even over a year.

Monday 20 January 2014

My Cat Tigger

Ahhhh Chair, Sun,, ooohh Sleep

Oh I Forgot

I go in on 29th Jan for a couple of days for the start of my Cancer treatment while I await the transplant.

Saturday 18 January 2014

It's Done

Well,, After a week of tests, I have been put on the Liver Transplant List.
It can take a while to get a Liver,, But then a couple of months in Hospital, then up to 6 months
recovering at home.

But, The End result should be that I am back to being fit and healthy and be able to go to WHL to
see Spurs again.

Life is weird at times, you just never know what is waiting around the corner.
